How are you today? Hope you find now, because now i will come up with my first tutorial.  I hope this can bring you cheers and fun! .
During this week im kind a busy doing several stuff, one of that is doing typoexperimental.  I only used Illustrator (Ai) and off course Photoshop (Ps) for this.
I use letter TERRA, why TERRA? Because TERRA is big, TERRA is the place where we live. TERRA means earth in Portuguese, and TERRA is also the name of Geophysical Engineering Societies hee, this art is specially created for them, hope you all enjoy this mate!.

Ok People let’s start the tuts! .
In this tuts i just explain the basic. All the tuts takes about 5-8 hours. There are several things that you should noticed, there are:

1. This is the most important thing you should know i think. You have to have a feeling of the art that you want to create, in this tuts you should imagine how your typo will looks like, this is very useful for you so that you will know exactly what you’re going to do.
2. The second is you must patient, and have fun! because when you talk about design, you must have fun! hehe x)
3. The rest is the basic skill to use Illustrator and Photoshop

First thing that i did was creating the basic Type in Illustrator. I using the T, E, R, R, A letters. And than adding each letter with 3D effect. You can set the parameter as you like as long as it looks nice for you.

Now, after you already created the basic typo in Illustrator, start to Open your Photoshop and creating new file (Im using 1024×768 pix). Create the black back Ground :  Create New Layer, Fill it with Black Color and place it  above the background, and then lock it  :).

You can now paste the latter one by one from Illustrator to Photoshop. Choose the smart object if you want the letter still in vector format, and as a pixel if you want to rasterized it as a normal layer.

After all type pasted from Illustrator you can start to trace it in Photoshop. You can using magic wand tool to select the front side of the letter but you also can  use pen tool (with this you can trace pricely than using magic wand tool).
If you use Pen tool after you trace it you can:
Right Click and select make selection, > then Create new layer and fill the selection with the color that you loved . Trace every part of the type from the front side  untill the emboss (The left-right, and the up-down side). This tracing process its useful for you so that you can have  single layer for everypart of the typo, so you can color  it with any gradient color. In this tracing process is the most consuming time, you have to be patient to do this hehehe

Ater you already have a single layer for each part of the type.. you can duplicate the front side as  many as you want, and move it . You also can change the blending layer,  And erase some part of the coppies.

Now you can begin create the ornament in illustrator and then paste it in Photoshop. The triangle, hexagonal shape, dashed line in the final result are produced in Illustrator. You can add glowing effect to several ornament or in the brush layer. You also can add a radial gradient to the rounded shape and then change the blending mode, duplicate it and place it upper the old rounded shape.

You can add a dashed line, stroke line and add some gradient or vibrant colour. If you pick dark color as a background, so you should pick bright color so that it can add more cool effect on the typo.  the strip line, and dot pattern are imported from illustrator and then i use it in the front side type.

after that only the matter finishing touch.. i add an earth parth upper the E letter, and add soft brushed in the background and of course my lovely brand Disa4ever hee..
